یوم مزدور کیوں منایا جاتا ہے؟ ، ایک دلچسپ آرٹیکل آیئے جانتے ہیں۔
یوم مزدور : یکم مئی مزدوروں کے عالمی دن کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔ اس دن کو منانے کا مقصد امریکا کے شہر شکاگو کے محنت کشوں کی جدوجہد کویاد کرنا ہے۔
1 مئی بین الاقوامی مزدوروں کا دن ہونے کا انتخاب 1886 شکاگو میں Hey Market معاملہ کی یاد دلانے
کے لئے کیا گیا تھا۔
مغربی دنیا میں صنعتی انقلاب کے بعد، سرمایہ کاروں کی بدکاریاں بڑھ گئیں، جن کے خلاف اشتعمالی نظریات بھی سامنے آئیں۔ سوشلزم ٹریڈ یونینز کی بنیاد ڈالی۔ صنعتی مراکز اور کارخانوں میں مزدوروں کی بد حالی حد سے زیادہ بڑھ گئی۔ کئی گھنٹوں کام کروایا جاتا تھا۔
یوم مئی کا آغاز 1886ء میں محنت کشوں کی طرف سے آٹھ گھنٹے کے اوقات کار کے مطالبے سے ہوا۔ ٹریڈ یونینز اور مزدور تنظیمیں اور دیگر سوشلسٹک ادارے، کارخانوں میں ہر دن آٹھ گھنٹے کام کا مطالبہ کیا۔
س دن امریکا کے محنت کشوں نے مکمل ہڑتال کی۔ تین مئی کو اس سلسلے میں شکاگو میں منعقد مزدوروں کے احتجاجی جلسے پر حملہ ہوا جس میں چار مزدور هلاک ہوئے۔ اس بر بریت کے خلاف محنت کش احتجاجی مظاہرے کے لیے ( Hey Market square ) میں جمع ہوئے۔ پولیس نے مظاہرہ روکنے کے لیے محنت کشوں پر تشدد کیا اسی دوران بم دھماکے میں ایک پولیس افسر ہلاک ہوا تو پولیس نے مظاہرین پر گولیوں کی بوچھاڑ کر دی جس کے نتیجے میں بے شمار مزدور هلاک ہوئے اور درجنوں کی تعداد میں زخمی ،اس موقعے پر سرمایہ داروں نے مزدور رہنماؤں کو گرفتار کر کے پھانسیاں دی۔ حالانکہ ان کے خلاف کوئی ثبوت نہیں تھا کہ وہ اس واقعے میں ملوث ہیں۔
انہوں نے مزدور تحریک کے لیے جان دے کر سرمایہ دارانہ نظام کا انصاف اور بر بریت واضح کر دی۔ ان هلاک ہونے والے رہنماؤں نے کہا ۔
’’تم ہمیں جسمانی طور پر ختم کر سکتے ہو لیکن ہماری آواز نہیں دباسکتے ‘‘
اس جدوجہد کے نتیجے میں دنیا بھر میں محنت کشوں نے آٹھ گھنٹے کے اوقات کار حاصل کیے ۔
Hey Market Square والے معملے کو مزدوروں کے عالمی دن کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔
واقعے کی جگہ کو 1992 میں Chicago landmark کے نام سے نامزد کیا گیا، اور 1997 میں Forest Park میں بنائے گئے شہدا‘ کی یادگار پر2004 میں ایک مجسمہ بھی نصب کیا گیا۔
پاکستان سمیت کئی ممالک میں یکم مئی مزدوروں کے عالمی دن بطور عام تعتیل منایا جاتا ہے۔

May 1, the choice of

in Chicago.
After the industrial
revolution in the western world, investors' abuse was increased, against which
anti-ideological ideas came. Socialism put the foundation of trade unions. In
the industrial centers and factories, the bad condition of labor increased more
and more. Working was taken in several hours.
On May 2, in 1886,
laborers demand eight hours of work. Trade unions and labor organizations and
other social institutions have demanded eight hours every day.
On that day, the workers
of the United States took full strike. On May 3, protesters protested in
Chicago attacked the protest, in which four workers were killed. Hey Market
Square gathered for a protest against Brigade. The police tortured the laborers
to stop protest, while a police officer was killed in a bomb blast, the police
shoot the bullets on protesters, resulting in a number of workers lost their
lives and dozens of others injured. Investigators arrested the leaders and
arrested them. Although there was no evidence against him that he was involved
in the incident.
Knowing the labor
movement, he explained the justice and justice of the capitalist system. The
leaders said.
"You can eliminate
us physically, but our voices cannot stand still"
As a result of this
struggle, laborers around the world got eight hours of work.
The Hey Market Affair is
celebrated as the International Labor Day.
ٰIncident location was named
as the Chicago Landmark in 1992, and a statue was also installed in 2004 at the Memorial made in Forest Park in 1997.
